What is the difference between open and enclosed transport?

Open carrier transport is the most popular and affordable vehicle shipping service. A multi-car carrier hauls up to 10 vehicles per load. This open-air method means that your car is exposed to all weather and road conditions while en route.
Enclosed carrier transport is a more premium shipping service with limited availability. Covered trucks protect your car from the outside elements, making it a great choice for vintage and exotic automobiles. An enclosed trailer can haul up to 7 vehicles per load.
